Joanna Rosenthal is Artisitc Director and Dancer for Same Planet Different World Dance Theatre.  Performing credits include Mordine and Company Dance Theatre, Hedwig Dances, The Chicago Moving Company and other independent choreographers. While dancing with Mordine and Company Dance Theatre, she was Associate Artistic Director and director of YDC, Mordine’s youth dance company. Joanna teaches dance at the Dance Center of Columbia College Chicago, Visceral Dance Chicago, and has taught at The Chicago Acadamy for the Arts and other suburban schools.  Joanna received her B.F.A. in dance from the University of Iowa and recently completed her M.F.A. in choreography at the University of Iowa.
