PARTICIPATE IN "DANCE ANYWHERE", A WORLDWIDE PUBLIC ART PERFORMANCE

On March 26, 2010, thousands of people worldwide will stop what they're doing and dance at 12 pm in San Francisco, 2 pm in Chicago, 3 pm in New York, 8 pm in Paris or Rome, and so on around the world.  Where will you be?

dance anywhere is an annual project that begins with a simple premise - an open invitation to stop and dance at 12 noon, Pacific Standard Time, and record their experience with a photo, video, poem, drawing, etc.  Founded in 2005 in Berkeley, CA, dance anywhere has now expanded to include people from around the U.S., and as far away as Argentina, Turkey, Italy, Istanbul, France, and Australia.

dance anywhere 2010 is coming soon, and we want YOU to participate!  We are seeking dancers of all levels, abilities, ages, and backgrounds (and people with no dance experience at all!).  Participants dance in their living rooms, on street corners, at museums, in parks, and on the subway.  Just stop, dance, and take a photo or video!
